Premium Pine Bark Mulch

Our pine bark mulch comes to us from Maine. It is a dark rich brown color, and has been double ground to give it a fine texture. Its all bark, no chunks of wood in this mix. Our mulch is so fine, it almost rakes itself. Our pine bark is sold by cubic yard. When calculating how much you need, figure one cubic yard is required for every 100 square feet of area you want to mulch (10 ft. by 10 ft. for example). We deliver 7 days a week.

Organic Forest Dark Brown Mulch

100% Pure Bark, Composted for 30 years, no dyes, no hardwood. Color comes in black, but will dry to a dark brown when spread.

Premium Black Pine/Spruce Mulch

Our black mulch also comes to us from Maine. It is made from Pine and Spruce, no filler or recycled wood in it whatsoever! This mulch is triple ground, which gives it finer pieces and a darker look. Our extra fine black mulch is sold by cubic yard. When calculating how much you need, figure one cubic yard is required for every 100 square feet of area you want to mulch (10 ft. by 10 ft. for example). We deliver 7 days a week.

Red Hemlock Mulch

Red Hemlock Bark is often referred to as fresh hemlock. The barkdust is called fresh because it is most recently removed from the Hemlock tree. Red Hemlock is grinded in such a way that it comes out in a Medium/Fine texture or size. This makes its appearance not as overwhelming but still allows you to maintain a definite fresh bark dust look and feel. This is the natural, fresh color of the Hemlock mulch. The red also stands out in your garden, catching peoples’ eyes as they walk by. Sold by cubic yard.

Screened Loam

The loam we sell is screened through a 3/4" mesh. It is perfect for lawns or plantings. Sold by cubic yard. If you are spreading it 4 inches thick (for a lawn) figure one cubic yard will cover 75 square feet of area.

Organic Compost

Our Certified Organic compost is an organic soil amendment for vegetable gardens, flower beds, lawns and landscapes. Add it to the soil to promote healthy plant growth. Use to enhance the growth of trees, shrubs and lawns. It has a 0.2-0.2-0.2 fertilizer analysis and provides nutrients for your flowers and vegetables. Sold by cubic yard.

75/25 Mix

Our 75/25 mix contains Three Quarters Loam and on quarter Compost, which is what we recommend for seeding and establishing new lawns. Sold by cubic yard.

Sod Grass

We sell the finest sod grass grown in Rhode Island. A mixture of Bluegrass, Ryegrass and Fescue. it is sold in rolls measuring 10 sq. ft. each. The roll dimensions are 24" wide by 5 ft. long. It is sold by roll and we generally have it in stock fresh every spring season.
